SEASON 4

ELIGIBILITY

  • At least one member of the team must be 18 or older.

  • All teams are required to register via the online registration form or in person.

  • Payment must be received in full before the start of the season. Team members may pay individually ($175/each) or together as a team ($350/team). iSwing members receive a 10% discount on their dues.

RULES & FORMAT

  • Each team will consist of two golfers. Golfers do not need a handicap. This is a non-handicap league separated by skill level in an A-League and B-League. NOTE: We are considering adding a AA level to further differentiate talent and offer a more competitive experience for golfers of different skill levels.

  • Season 3 will have an A-League and B-League [with potentially a AA-League, pending registrations]

    • A League = Avg team score is Even to Under Par. Tee Boxes: Blue (men) & Red (women). 8 ft putting distance ‘gimmes’.

    • B League = Avg team score is Even to Over Par. Tee Boxes: White (men) & Yellow (women). 12 ft putting distance ‘gimmes’.

      *Note: tee box color varies per course but the A league will always play one tee box in front of the tips, and the B league will play one tee box in front of the A league.

  • Teams that played in the prior season will have their scores reviewed to ensure they are playing at the appropriate level. High performing B-League teams may be required to move up in the A-League. Low performing A-League teams will have the choice to stay in A or reduce to B.

  • Each team will play 9 holes per week in a 2-player Scramble format. The two players together will post a single score for their team each week.

  • Each team must use a minimum of 1 tee shot from both players per round of 9 holes.

  • There are no mulligans.

  • The season will consist of 6 weeks of ‘Regular Season’ play, followed by 2-3 weeks of Playoffs.

  • A new course is played each week of the season. Each team plays the same course. System settings such as fairway hardness, green speed, course elevation, etc. will be the same for all teams, regardless of which room each team plays in.

  • If a team needs to miss a week, advanced notice must be provided and a make-up slot will be re-scheduled either in advance of, or after, the week missed.

  • Teams will accumulate points on a weekly basis according to scoring rules defined below.

  • Weekly and season long standings will be posted in the facility and online.

  • There are no prizes for weekly winners. Prizes are awarded at the end of the season to the 1st and 2nd place teams (per each league)

REGULAR SEASON SCORING

  • Points are awarded to teams on a weekly basis, based on the weekly event standings.

  • 1st Place = 10 pts

  • 2nd Place = 5 pts

  • 3rd Place = 2 pts

  • 4th Place = 1 pt

  • Ties for 1st through 4th place will split the points for that place and void the points for the succeeding places.

  • Example: Two teams tie for 1st place. Each team gets 5 points. No points are awarded for second place. 3rd place gets 2 pts and 4th place gets 1 pt.

  • Example: Two teams tie for 1st place and 2 teams tie for 2nd place. The two first place teams get 5 points each. The two second place teams get 1 pt each.

A-LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

The top 4 teams with the highest number of cumulative season points at the end of the 6th week will advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will be head-to-head matchups. In the event of a tie during any matchup, additional holes will be played to determine a winner.

SEMI-FINALS

Seed #1 vs. Seed #4

Seed #2 vs Seed #3

Winners of each Semi-Final match advance to the finals.

FINALS

Final 2 teams remaining play head-to-head in the same bay at the same time. Winner takes 1st place. Loser takes 2nd place.

B-LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

The B-league has 2 divisions. The top 3 teams from each Division with the highest number of cumulative season points at the end of the 6th week will advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will be head-to-head matchups. In the event of a tie during any matchup, additional holes will be played to determine a winner.

QUARTER-FINALS

Seed #1 gets a BYE (each division)

Seed #2 vs Seed #3 (each division)

SEMI-FINALS

Seed #1 vs Winner of Quarter-Finals match (each division)

Winners of each Semi-Final match advance to the finals.

FINALS

Winner of each Division will play head-to-head in the same bay at the same time. Winner takes 1st place. Loser takes 2nd place.

PRIZES

The prizes listed below are awarded to A and B Leagues winners.

  • 1st  = Names engraved on iSwing Champions Cup on display at iSwing and $300 gift certificate to iSwing (per team).

  • 2nd = $150 gift certificate to iSwing (per team)
