SEASON 1

ELIGIBILITY

  • At least one member of the team must be 18 or older.

  • All teams are required to register via the online registration form or in person.

  • Payment must be received in full before the start of the season. Team members may pay individually ($150/each) or together as a team ($300/team).

RULES & FORMAT

  • Each team will consist of two golfers. Golfers do not need a handicap. It is a non-handicap league.

  • Each team will play 9 holes per week in a 2-player Scramble format. The two players together will post a single score for their team each week.

  • Men will play from the BLUE tee boxes. Women will have the option to play from the RED or BLUE tee boxes.

  • A new course is played each week of the season. Each team plays the same course. System settings such as fairway hardness, green speed, course elevation, etc. will be the same for all teams, regardless of which golf bay each team plays in.

  • The season will consist of 6 weeks of ‘regular season’ play, followed by 2 weeks of playoffs.

  • There are no mulligans.

  • Each team must use a minimum of 1 tee shot from both players per round of 9 holes.

  • Putting will be set to 10 ft “gimmes”. This means that a putt of 10ft or less from the hole is automatically counted as a made putt and one stroke is used for the “gimme”.

  • Teams will accumulate points on a weekly basis according to scoring rules defined below.

  • If a team needs to miss a week, advanced notice must be provided and a make-up slot will be re-scheduled prior to the end of the regular season.

  • Weekly and season long standings will be posted in the facility and online.

  • There are no prizes for weekly winners. Prizes are awarded at the end of the season to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

  • Points are accumulated throughout the 6 weeks of the regular season.

REGULAR SEASON SCORING

  • Points are awarded to teams on a weekly basis, based on the weekly event standings:

  • 1st Place = 10 pts

  • 2nd Place = 5 pts

  • 3rd Place = 2 pts

  • 4th Place = 1 pt

  • Ties for 1st through 4th place will split the points for that place and void the points for the succeeding places.

  • Example: Two teams tie for 1st place. Each team gets 5 points. No points are awarded for second place. 3rd place gets 2 pts and 4th place gets 1 pt.

  • Example: Two teams tie for 1st place and 2 teams tie for 2nd place. The two first place teams get 5 points each. The two second place teams get 1 pt each.

PLAYOFFS

The top 7 teams with the highest number of cumulative season points at the end of the 6th week will advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will be head-to-head matchups. In the event of a tie during any matchup, additional holes will be played to determine a winner

QUARTER-FINALS

Seed #1 gets 1st Round BYE.

Seeds # 2 - 7 play head-to-head matchups, winners advance.

SEMI-FINALS

Seed #1 plays lowest seeded team that advances.

The other 2 winners of R1 play each other. The loser of this matchup takes 3rd place overall.  The winner advances to the Finals.

FINALS

Final 2 teams remaining play head-to-head. Winner takes 1st place. Loser takes 2nd place.

PRIZES

  • 1st  = Names engraved on perpetual trophy cup on display at iSwing + FREE entry into next season + $250 gift card to PGA superstore per person.

  • 2nd = FREE entry into next season OR FREE 1-month Game Improvement Membership for each player.

  • 3rd = FREE Golf Lesson and custom iSwing golf hat per player.
